Mission & Vision

My mission is to engage, enlighten and empower you to understand your body and thought patterns more deeply, so you can create the changes you want in your life, achieve your potential, and uninhibitedly share your talents with the world.

My vision for the future is a world in which we understand our own and each other’s complex experience of embodiment and from that understanding, we treat each other and ourselves with respect, compassion and sensitivity.

My Teaching Philosophy

I believe that you have total ownership of your body, your voice, your work, and your actions.  My teaching aims to offer you methods to reclaim greater ownership and empowerment of yourself and your life.

Anyone can be a critic. We can all observe someone’s work, body or practice and comment on the flaws. We can all define and express what we see, what we feel, what we would do instead, change or fix. This is not teaching.

What separates a teacher from a critic is the ability to offer specific, tangible and useful tools, so that the student can achieve noticeable change and improvement in themselves that they can then apply, repeat and explore on their own terms. My responsibility as a teacher is to offer you tools and practices that work for you, that you enjoy, and that offer you a sense of freedom and play. These tools will be different from what I might apply to myself in the same circumstance, or what I might offer another student.

Your ownership of yourself and the beauty of your individuality is at the centre of my teaching practice.
